Mahatma and Nobel prize

Why wasn't Gandhi bestowed with Nobel Prize? Because it is too small to decorate Mahatma. Four times he was nominated, but by divine grace he was not selected. He is far far above than other Nobel Peace winners. His power still works and will continue to influence the distraught world.

Magic of austerity

If austerity comes into effect in all government spheres, politics will cease to be a happy hunting ground for many politicians. In other words, austerity in politics in the long run will reduce the power hungry-population to be replaced by service-hungry ones.

Be brave Advaniji

The Jaswant-BJP-Advani-Kandahar issue has just become a political game with little national interest. Seldom it will have any impact on recession or price rise or drought condition, nor it will help country see 9% growth.
Then why so much noise? Reason is just a game of pull and push to gain political mileage.
From a layman’s view, whatever was done during the Kandahar plane hijack episode by the NDA government was absolutely right. It, at least, saved the lives of 160 people aboard in lieu of three dreaded terrorists.
Imagine, had the otherwise happened! Indian government disagreed to release three terrorists. And hijackers’ barbaric act against the hostages.
So, considering the gravity of the situation, were the steps taken by the then NDA government to swap the terrorists with hostages wrong?
If not, then why does Advani feel shy of admitting the truth? Mission Kandahar may not be glorious, but not a bad one. On the whole, it was successful. After all, we saved 160 families from suffering agony of losing their kith and kin.

Let ministers live in 5-star!

Mantri hua to kya hua? Let them stay in 5-star. Let them understand the grievances of the rich. After all, govt is for all. Only poor should not be privileged lot!

Tips for the new prime minister of India to solve Kashmir tangle

Mr new prime minister, here is a very useful and sure shot solution to Kashmir problem. You need not shed a single drop of blood of your countrymen nor of your enemies. You only require guts, iron will and steel nerve.

First step: Be bold and hold your breath: Get ready to dedicate your country to Pakistan in exchange for democracy. Say, "come on brother, take over us, we are yours. But come to power through democratic process if you really love democracy".
Results may be invisible now, but distinctly imaginable.

Next step: Apply the same procedure to Nepal and Bangladesh.
Results: Instantly the country will be bigger and stronger.
But what will be the name of the country?
Nepal? Pakistan? Bangladesh? or India?

Let the people decide. After all our government will be for the people, by the people and of the people.

Breaking news

Shoe hurling at political leaders has become an insane culture of late, the latest being an attempt on our beloved soft-spoken prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Only idiots can carry on such trends to the future. It's an easy way to gain public attention and instant notoriety. They know that media is ready for the hype in the name of "BREAKING NEWS". So, idiots of the world, act, and get your name be flashed on your box and printed in the newspapers.
